Anaëlle's secret chocolate pie recipe™
Ingredients:
1 (thick) shortcrust pastry
300g dark chocolate (preferably Nestlé)
300mL heavy cream (full or semi-thick)
1 egg (or 2, depending on the thickness of the cream)
150g powdered sugar
7.5g vanilla sugar
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 356°F.
Roll out the shortcrust pastry in a pie dish and bake it alone for 15 minutes at 356°F.
In a saucepan over low heat, melt the dark chocolate with the cream, stirring constantly until the mixture is smooth and homogeneous.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the eggs, powdered sugar, and vanilla sugar. Mix well until the sugar is dissolved.
Pour the chocolate mixture over the baked shortcrust pastry and bake again for about 17 minutes at 356°F.
Let the chocolate pie cool at room temperature, then refrigerate it for several hours before serving.
